The hotel is very convenient and clean, Owners are very kind and helpful.
English-speaking staff very friendly and helpful, hotel very central to Florence sights and central station, parking garage close by.Would recommend hotel provided prospective guest fully understand all pros and cons related to hotel.
Room towards street could tend to be noisy in spite of double glazing. Room very small in spite of fairly high price. Lots of noise from other bathrooms tended to travel through airducts. Compared to other hotels we stayed at in Tuscany and in other city centres, Hotel Nizza was a bit overpriced.
The hotel is in a perfect location, very close to the train station and within short walking distance of the main tourist sites in Florence. The hotel staff helped us find restaurants with gluten-free menus.
The room, while functional, was quite small for four persons. Only to be used as a place to sleep. With so much to see in Florence, this was not a problem.
The location!!. If you will pay for this hotel, You will only pay for its location. Its hardly 3-4 mins walk from the main railway station. The staff is nice as well.
The room was too small. Bathroom is decent. The breakfast is very basic continental. Nothing warm served except for tea/coffee. Had just one bread beside a croissant.
The staff were exceedingly friendly; the location relative to the train station was excellent and the room itself was lovely.
The stairs were a little tricky for those with heavy luggage.
The location was great, close to the train station, duomo and shopping and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast selection was the best that we've had on our trip. We ended up staying an extra night and would have stayed one more but they didn't have any availability.
It was so great having Wi Fi internet access in the hotel room and it was FREE!
The location which was close to train station and main sites.
The noise from outside was very loud (people and traffic - scooter parking in front of hotel), hotel advertises air conditioning but when we requested it, we were told it was not hot enough and were refused the use of it. We wanted it to change the air in the room because the room was stuffy and had a musty smell. Could not sleep with window open because of the noise outside going on all night. Also the day attendant had an arrogant and sarcastic attitude. He also refused to fill out the registration forms while we were waiting although the reception area was empty. We had to leave our passports and come back for them. When we did, there was nobody at reception and our passports were on the desk. Anybody could have taken them. That was irresponsible of him.
Very convenient location. A few minutes hodbyot railway station, shops and the sights. However, it is in a quiet location, not noisy. The hotel is small but nice, comfortable and clean. All you need to eat and a wonderful warm welcome. A good breakfast. And the Internet is even in the room. Thank you! Would definitely go back if possible.
Very good location and breakfast - simple but enough. Friendly staff and very good wifi.
Our bed was terrible. The mattress too old and we had back aches every day after a bad night sleep. The lobby staff smokes inside the hotel so there is a terrible smoke odour in the lobby. Unfortunately we had a room beside the lobby so coud smell the cigarette smoke and hear everything that was said in the lobby. The entrance door has a beep that goes on when the door is opened - absolutely annoying during the night!!! If staying there do not accept rooms 2 to 4.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location. Easy walking distance (5 minutes) from train station and to all sites. Super value for Florence. Room small but functional. Very clean.
Wi-FI only worked one day out of 3 but was going to get fixed. Computer provided at front desk in interim. Basic breakfast which was standard for Italy though.
The staff were very helpful. We left early on our final day and they opened the breakfast room 30 minutes early so that we would not starve. Rooms have air con but you have to ask at the front desk to have it turned on. It is ideally situated being close to the railway station and also to the main tourist area.
The entrance stairs are fairly steep especially if you have a suitcase to haul up
Great little hotel, room was small but comfortable. Air conditioning was fantastic! (this was no.1 priority in the stifling summer). Had to turn it off at times as got too cold! TV had CNN, bathroom and shower ok. Wifi worked well in the room. Very close to train station as well as sights of Florence. Desk sells cheap cold drinks
Breakfast was poor, but we usually skip this anyway
This hotel is located in the very center of Florence, train station is nearby and everything is withing walking distance. Very convenient location! The staff speaks English and they all are very helpful. Especially Edi is a wonderful person and very pleasant, she is a true gem and so professional. You rarely find people like her in hospitality business! Breakfast is very good and included in price and dining room is nice, clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to explore Florence.
It was a nice little hotel at the center of Florence. I enjoyed staying there. Everything was clean from sheets and bathroom too. The staff was polite and gentle.
